Structure:They are composed of an outer membrane, an inner membrane, a stromal lamellae, a thylakoid, a stroma, and starch/sugar.
Function: Chloroplasts convert sun, CO2 and water into energy (sugar) and oxygen. They make the energy for a plant, and are the bases for photosynthesis.
