Location:The nuclear envelope surrounds the nucleus, and is located in both plant and animal cells.
Structure: The nuclear envelope is a double membrane with multiple pores so that things such as RNA can leave and enter the nucleus.
Function: The function of the nuclear envelope is too let things in and out of the cell that are needed and they regulate when to let out things like RNA and proteins. This way, there is some information flow control inside of the cell to let information in and out.
